Innovative mortgage approach

message from our sponsors;
What is an endowment mortgage? This is a very clever and innovative approach to mortgages that enabled many people to own houses in the 60s and 70s. However in recent times, due to various reasons, endowment mortgages have not quite worked and people who take out such mortgages have not been able to pay off what is owed.

An endowment mortgage is where the principle of the loan is covered by an endowment insurance policy. Thus the mortgage is paid off by paying insurance premiums on an insurance policy, which are usually much lower than a mortgage payment would be. The endowment policy ensures the mortgage holder will be able to pay off the loan when it becomes due. Thus the only thing that remains due is the interest on the loan.

However in recent times these endowments arrangements have run into various problems.

Masai manyatta is extremely cool

One interesting feature of the Masai Manyatta is that the hut is extremely cool inside and it is a real shelter from the sweltering heat that is found in Masai country. Yet at night it is also warm and keeps out the cold. It is an engineering feat of sorts that deserves some respect

Masai manyatta

The Masai have always been nomads and this explains the way they build their houses, popularly called Manyattas. They are constructed quickly and in a make-shift way with the walls smeared with cow dung. You can quickly tell that they were never constructed to last. In fact they do not even have a thatched roof and can hardly stand several seasons of rain.

Encouraged to approach

How would you like to work with attorneys who are always encouraged to approach each case with a fresh perspective and to look for opportunities to resolve conflicts in a cost-efficient and effective way? Difficult to believe that such lawyers exist when we all know the sort of reputation most lawyers have all over the world.

But then Simmons Jannace & Stagg is not really just any other law firm. Where most lawyers are slaves to convention and the status quo, these attorneys are not. If anything they are equally adept at representing small companies, municipalities as well as individuals. It really isn’t surprising that many of their clients have been with them since inception over 10 years ago.

The Mara or the Serengeti?

The world famous Masai Mara Game reserve in Kenya actually neighbors the Serengeti game reserve in neighboring Tanzania. It is interesting how the Masai have ignore geographical and national boundaries and kept their way of life pretty close to what it has been for centuries. They usually roam this vast land covering the Masai Mara and Serengeti without caring much where the border line is. (read next post for more)

Which country Masai?

Nationals of Kenya and Tanzania (the two countries the Masai occupy) usually require passports to cross into each other’s country’s. Not the Masai, who ignore border checks and criss-cross from one country to the other clad in their traditional attire and without a care in the world. Immigration officials have over the years respected the Masai’s way of life and would never dream of asking them for their passports or nationality.

Tourist attracted

Despite many changes in the way of life of African tribes where many have abandoned culture for the modern way of life, the Masai have stubbornl clung to their culture and way of life. Little has changed in the way the Masai have lived in centuries. But this IS NOT the main attraction for tourists attracted to the Masai who are flocking into Africa to see this unique African tribe

Masai wives

Masai women are the most interesting people one can ever choose to research on. Masai culture demands that women are circumcised and what this brutal practice does is that it makes it much more difficult for masai wives to enjoy their conjugal rights with their husbands. Still they usually have to be very submissive to their fierce warrior-like husbands.

Famous masai love-making prowess: myth or reality?

For many years the lovemaking prowess of the famous Masai tribe of Africa has been well known. More so amongst a growing number of women tourists flocking in from Europe with little else on their mind other than a sex safari in the African bush involving some Masai warrior. And they are visiting Masai country in Africa, Kenya, in larger numbers every year. Read article on why the Masai are such experts in lovemaking.

The sensitive issue of sex tourism

The issue of sex tourism is an extremely sensitive one but it seems that African governments that are heavily dependant on the valuable foreign currency brought in by tourism have conveniently looked the other way as the Masai tribesmen have attracted huge numbers of tourists, especially women out for sex tourism rather than responsible tourism. Read an excellent article about how Masai warriors are attracting sophisticated white female tourists.
